I'VE PICKED MY PHOTO AND TRIED AT LEAST A THOUSAND TIMES, I GET IT UP IN THE UPLOAD AVATAR BOX THEN TRY AND SAVE CHANGES BUT MY PIC STILL ISN'T THERE, I HAVE TRIED ADDING SOMETHING IN THE LINK TO AVATAR BOX BUT I'M NOT REALLY SURE WHAT I SHOULD BE PUTTING! IS IT THE PATH TO YOUR PHOTOS THAT YOU TYPE?

I have tried this and succeeded I've even changed the photo, it took a few goes. I resized the photo I wanted and it worked I used the avatar browse box |

BL's pretty new to this forum - our old one is in the process of being closed down. I haven't tried chat here very much, but as Donna says it tends to get busier around 8 or 9pm (ish).
Welcome, by-the-way, you'll find most of us friendly and people are always willing to answer any questions. Do you have any birds?

thanks everyone.nice to meet u all.I don't have much experience yet to foster any large birds yet but will get there.i have 2 budgies and 1 cockateil.i have a jack russel and i have worked for many years looking after stray dogs in Italy.i am up for the challenge with birds now.not a lot in my area.don't know if u all remember Molly's story last year,the cockatoo with the big scab on her chest.well i am the lady that had her for one day .Greg ,in Dover ,helped me out and picked her up immediatly after my call to him.He still has Molly and she is doing really well.I would like to tell everyone what a lovely man Greg is. bye for now.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx |

Now that one is on the forum profile and go into edit use the avatar browse box find the pic you want make sure it's small though and click save, had to do it a few times to get it right |

Having tried to do this several times, I just used the resize package Marc pointed out in another thread and it worked, first time!!! |

I think the package I referred to above is resize2mail, I just found it under forum and website help. I can't remember what I did, but seem to think that just googling that made it come up, and it all seemed to happen by witchcraft, but then that's me with IT. |

Yvonne, yes it's working but it's too big for the box - try to resize your picture so it's smaller before doing the same thing again. |
