I should have said thanks for the offer to Gill and Terry as well. I do now. It is good to know such people are in Birdline, ready to offer help where needed.
Where do you come to in Devon, Terry?

I can't remember where i have read it but anyone thinking of applying for a bird should keep the birds identity private and off the forum. The reason is this, someone else may be thinking of applying for bird "X" (example) and if they see someone else is going to apply it may put them off applying. It is as far as im aware standard Birdline policy that identities should be kept private until the bird is off the rehoming list. Provisional relay request / arrangements should be coordinated through the correct channels via the Private Message function or e-mail etc if it involves a bird on the rehoming list.
If anyone at all can offer transport to / from any part of the UK no matter how short or long would be best forwarded to the rehoming team or your ACO, there could be a bird awaiting transport thats not on the rehoming list, but it's just as important it gets from A to B. Just a thought.
Please don't take this the wrong way, it's just a bit of guidance so potential applicants are not put off.

:o( right that confirms it I need to win the lottery big style! They are all beautiful how on earth can anybody decide which one..... Ok so I have a massive soft spot for the Ammie population but owning cockatiels and a CAG too means I end up falling for all of them......These little birdies are all so sweet.... Think I need to stay away from looking at that particular section of the site!
