Oh dear God....they are ugly suckers!!!!!! When I first got together with my husband his brother lived in Aus and he was about to move out there. I just could NOT go due to fear of spiders so he stayed in the UK for me.....aaahhhhhhh

and that is what you call "LOVE"

i have a pint glass and a bit of card ready! I cant stand spiders..but live alone So i have to make myself brave and remove the spider myself. Now ill be on a heightened alert haha

The spiders we have coming in at the moment are huge the only good spider is a dead one. It is said that we all swallow quite a few spiders (cann't remember the exact number) while we are asleep thoughout our lifetime Yuk!! A gardening expert on the TV last night said that it is autumn already going by the state of the plants all due to the hot dry spring we had. Obviously the spiders are confused as well and are coming in early. My other pet hate are bats and dragonflies. It is rubbish that bats have some sort of sonar so they won't come near you. The last cottage we lived in had loads of bats around and when I used to take the dog out for a last pee at night I used to cower against the wall. Several times the bats flew straight into the window (luckily shut)while I was stood there. Graham my OH drives a milk tanker at night and says he hits about 5 each night and has even had on come in the cab!Some sonar if the cann't sense a great big artic milk tanker! I am paranoid about dragonflies since one came in my dads old VW camper as we were chugging down the motorway when I was a child. If I see one now I'm off , gone no hanging about regardless of where I am.
