Hi all.....will be holding a quiz on Saturday 2nd April....8.30pm....Theme will be your SUBJECTS.... each person will be asked questions in turn on the subject they choose.....winner recieves a special birdie prize from me.....Please let me know on this thread or by pm what subject you want....can be a person....a tv program or songs from a certain decade etc..........i will have questions ready for all who let me know the subject they want.....others who turn up on the night will have random general knowledge questions..........come on everyone join in its a good laugh  |

Kerry good idea though it is... if you get 20 people all with different subjects you are gonna need ages researching the questions!!! and WE NEED YOU MAKING REHOMING PHONE CALLS!!!
Why dont you just do a normal pub type quiz, easier for you, and everyone gets to answer all the questions.. just a thought mate |

I think Sheila has a good point there Kerry. If everyone answers every question it will be a lot easier for you to add up at the end. |

Kerry I agree I think it will be too time consuming for you to do individual questions. As there hasnt been one for a while I would be tempted to opt for the easier option with general knowledge and see how it goes. |

Right guys ........I shall do a normal quiz this time see how many turn up ....next time ill do it different but set it about 3 weeks notice..........This is how it will go....they will be general knowledge questions, questions also on music, films and current affairs........Everyone will have 30 seconds to answer (so no one googles lol)...all correct answers will recieve 1 point.....if it ends up at a tie breaker with 2 etc people it will carry on with those people untill a winner is found....and a lovely birdie prize on the way |

Oh Kerry, Im so sorry !!! I FORGOT.
This honestly isnt an excuse. Had a call on Saturday from my eldest daughter, in floods of tears and panicking. She is having a new carpet delivered and laid on Monday and wanted help wallpapering.
We dropped everything and went through.
Got there to find it was the stairs not the living room that needed done. Flipping nightmare!!!.Yesterday I had my grandson all day, and as soon as his mum collected him, I had to go back through to Penrith again. Joe had been there since 9am, We didnt get back until 11pm. Poor Joe can hardly move and is in agony now.(i think we are getting too old for this now,what used to be done in a day, now takes 3 lol )
I have been wanting my own decorating done for ages , but fat chance I'll have of that now .
Sounds like I missed a great night. I will make the next one though, PROMISE !!!!
