hi im wilie and im from dumfries in scotland

and im new on the site and i will become a fully payed member  on the 23rd of march

my question is when i become a full member could i apply for a parrot and as im unemployed and i dont drive

if my application is succesfull could i get the parrot that i pick deliverd to me.and do you do the house check

before or after i become a full member.and at the moment i dont have a cage for the parrot so do most off them come

with a cage so that i have time to save and buy on off my own in time.

                                                                                            thanks

                                                                                           willie

Hi Willie

Once you are a member you can apply for a bird. Some come with cages but each write up will tell you if they have a cage or not. Normally the fosterer collects the parrot if they are sucessful, although sometimes help can be arranged. If you can not collect the parrot you must specify that on your application so that the rehoming team know that help will be needed should you be successful.

A homecheck will only be done if it is decided that you are the best fosterer for the bird you apply for. A homecheck costs £20 so we wouldn't do it unless we were happy you suited the parrot and the parrot suited you.

Do you have birds already? Or have you had them in the past? There is a great variety up on the rehoming list at the moment.

i shall give u a call tomorrow willie

Most birds that come in have there own cage.....but we can allways arrange things and cages if they dont, so dont worry about that side of things.

But you do have to be a member before it can go any futher as in home checks etc.....but i will give u a ring
