 Hiya,

unfortunately, I've had to forgo the cost of a full license for now. I wanted a CB500 or really really a Harley VRod !!. I've had to make do with a CG125 for now. Gets me about, but not much for my mid 40s image! One day

All the best to you too all

Excellent Doddie. I've never been to a rally. I went to a weekend here in the Midlands not long back, run by the BOF club. Great crowd. Triumph would be nice, yes

Hi Matt, My first bike was a Honda CG25 (kick-start) too! - I started with the biking in my early 40s too - did pillion on hubby's bike a few times then decided to go it alone. Got the test over and done with but on a restricted 33bhp for 2 years - which suited me and got me straight on a 650 Suzuki cruiser. 5 years later and a couple of bike changes and now my pride and joy is a red Ducati Multistrada 1000. I agree though that's its not cheap hobby to follow . Good luck with your first safe house bird, Christine

It's ok, the 125. I had a Marauder a couple of years ago. Boy, that was fun for a first bike. Ducati- Just had a look at the bike- Wow that's nice, well done.
