Hi welcome.  Im sure you will hear soon about your application.  I just safehouse for birdline and find that really rewarding. I like getting to know different species.  You are a dog trainer Im sure lots of us will be picking your brains for help with our dogs!! One of mine is a wee devil even though she only has three legs.

thanks everyone and yes i know i must be patient but its so hard im so excited to get a new baby i have rescued many dogs over the years and rehabilitated them its so rewarding and now i cant wait to do the same with a bird ! i have bought a new big cage loads of toys got rid of air freshners etc its like preparing for a new born baby ha! if any of you need any advise on training and understanding your dog just ask i will try to help not much difference between dogs and birds they are all our highly intelligent babies that need love understanding patience and posotive rienforcement

ah thanks for that good luck for sunday hope it all goes smoothly ! i am really hoping to hear something soon i was unlucky first time round but ii too beleive that things happen for a reason and i know that when my new baby does come it  will all be worth the wait keep us updated on your new addition!

Hi Nicky, just wanted to wish you good luck for picking up your new baby.....think you and me have been on the same up and down trip together...we fetched Spencer last Sunday, she is settling brilliant...Now we can go through getting our babies through their 'teething troubles' together.....we've learnt a lot about Spencer in 6 days, am sure you'll do the same.  She is so different to how Charlie was.....she is beautiful and we are so proud of her.....We hope you get the same feeling about your special one...!....take it steady and enjoy!....best wishes Freda

Hi the Millers!....and welcome....hope you hear soon about your 'new baby'....the wait really gets to you....i can feel for you now as i've just come through it!.....got my Spencer last Sunday.....best thing ever......it is definately waiting for....i haven't got a dog but how are you training neighbours!.....?.............we have a real forrest growing next to us!...lol....good luck to you..............hope you get a phone call very soon and it's good news about your baby...........the re-homing team did a brilliant job for me....i couldn't have asked for better....our Spencer certainly fits in with us and we with her....that's what it's all about......you'll get the right one for you in the end....

I too am waiting for a call and have been suffering from the same affliction as others.  You check the phone each time u go up the garden, put on hoover, nip out for a few mins, etc.  In short I think I am fast becoming a phone stalker!!
