I ordered a bundle as well the other week. Finally found some toys Indie is definitely interested in - it can be so expensive experimenting to see what they really like; he goes off of them so quickly - thanks Scarlett!!

Kerry,

Since he loves rope why don't you order some coir (coconut) rope from a rope suppliers? Try: http://www.cheap-rope.co.uk It costs £1.99 a metre for 24mm diam plus P&P. We strip it down to its smaller parts and wrap it around toys, making them a challenge to get into. Charlie loves it and he preens the rope rather than overpreening his own chest. I have to be honest, Shaz suggested it to me (she uses it in her aviary) and now I wouldn't be without it. Try ordering 2 or 3 metres to start with and see.

On our clearance page we have Fluster Busters, they are great rope toys and at £5 cheap enough but last a good while.
For wood try things like the nutmaze, might get him foraging for the nuts.
We have loads of toys in the clearance section which are long lasting but really cheap prices.

Hi kerry, I would recommend scarlettsparrotessentials.co.uk . i have an extremely destructive macaw which will tear a wooden toy to pieces in hours, but the ones I have had of scarletts are amazing quality very well priced and entertaining, my macaw has been on his all week. If you go on her website and look on 'satisfied customers' you will see my b&g on his toy... the one with ropes and wood that is large is on 'wood and rope toys', code BR1123 called a small macaw toy, and it only cost £3.60 , which is amazing...

Anyone who hasnt looked on scarlettsparrotessentials.co.uk should definately take a look and go on every page you will be amazed at the quality and prices. amazing. x

I will wholeheartedly back up what Helen says. My GW macaw is happily playing with the (free) nut maze. I thought he would destroy it in seconds but he is working really hard to get the nut out of the holes instead. Also if Scarlett doesn't have something on her website it is worth asking her if she can get it. She did this for me with a pinata, which is really the only toy my macaw plays with normally, she got if for me, and was still cheaper than NP.

Next month we have some great new products coming in.
Some fab new Beak Buffers made from natural fossilised coral stone (no live coral harmed) which are brilliant for stopping parrots grinding their beaks on cages etc especially after they have eaten.
Available sizes for large and small birds.

Also clam perches containing iodine which helps the thyroid function (Harley has thyroid issues so i can`t wait to try one on him).

Thanks for the kind comments guys, and Sharon, we have some great pinatas similar to the one your Greenwing likes but a whole lot cheaper Should be in within a couple of weeks. The large will be going out at under £4!!
