Hi everyone...

My name is Alice and I joined in December last year...so a big delay in saying hello!

At the moment I have a lovebird called Rum who used to have a friend called Raisin who pecked bald on top of his head.  After being advised by a vet I contacted Birdline to try and rehome Raisin and I would like to say a big thank you to Vicky Whitfield for helping me.  Raisin has a new friend called Romeo.

This is the first time I have ever owned a bird, if I was honest I was slightly dubious at first but now I can't believe how much I love him.  He certainly has a big personality for a small bird!  Once I move to a bigger place I will definitely be wanting to rescue another bird.

Anyway I look forward to chatting to you all and being an inexperienced bird owner will no doubt have many questions to ask.

Raisin is doing absolutely great in his new home and is very loved up with his new buddy. Will definitely try and get some pics to post!
