Was just sitting talking to my birds and started thinking about how I look after them and my husband differently.

Breakfast:- Birds.....I make them buttered toast, sometimes with honey or mixed spice or peanut butter on.

Husband:-he makes his own toast and marmalade

Mid morning:-I give the birds some fruit juice and 1/2 a biscuit. Husband gets himself some coffee

Lunch:- I get the birds get fresh fruit, husband gets whatever he wants to eat

Mid afternoon:- I give the birds some tea (decaf) and bread & butter

Husband usually at work so gets what he wants if he wants

Dinner:- I cook for the birds either a cheese omlette, or veggies or some of our dinner (our dinner being me and the foster kids) and they have seed all day if they wish

Husband gets his own dinner if he doesn't want what we are having!

This is probably a slight exaggeration and I don'e do it every day but you get the idea I'm sure.....BUT I AM STILL MARRIED THANK GOD!!!!!!!

Parrots first every time in our house

For example: At Christmas I spent over £200 on Pele, Lee got a T-shirt! The same can be said for Birthdays.

Also, I spend my evenings watching films, snogging and grooming Pele on "our " couch whilst Lee sits on the other sofa on his own Never once has he complained. He knows that when he hears me say those special words "I Love You!" Im not talking to him!
