Hi all.

been member now since july we live in west sussex and also looking to buy parrot preferrably african grey and like others came across birdline. we applied to rehome one of the african greys on here. still waiting to hear does anyone know how long it takes to know if you been picked? we have 3 rabbits kitten tropical fish and pond fish. wanting to extend our brood! also have 20 month old little girl who loves her animals.

workjed with african greys few years again i am a stay at home mum so would be able to give plenty of time we were considering cockatoo but have no experienece otherwise we would offer home to one of the 2 on here as we are local to surrey. is this correct experience needed to specifically rehome these parrots?

any answers to above greatly received

Hi, Birds are on the rehoming list for about a month, giving people a chance to apply to foster. After this time, the rehoming officers will look at all the applications and you will be notified in due course either way.
Some birds have a lot of people applying for them, and these need to be gone through carefully, before any decisions can be made.
Please be patient. It can take a while.

Hello Claire, I'm in West Sussex too (Billingshurst). I hope you have a feathery addition to your family soon!
