Hi all - haven't been on site for a while and now I'm back looking advice   I'm collecting a male Barraband Parakeet from a local animal sanctuary tomorrow.  He's been shunted around and came to the sanctuary plucked and in a sorry state.  Saw him during the week and he's now coming on well and feathers are starting to grow back.  He's not tame but hopefully with a bit of work will be tolerant.  Barrabands seem pretty hard to come by here and I was wondering if anyone knew what other sort of bird they do well with.  I have Cockatiels in an indoor aviary and a tame Amazon who has free flight about the house.  Thinking this wee critter will probably do better in an indoor aviary with a chum but wouldn't want anything bigger/stronger than him.  Saw Jasper on rehoming site and if he wasn't in Devon....

Thanks,

Allie
