Been out in the park collecting pine cones for the birds got a carrier bag full, it did look strange as we had Freddie (dog) with us and a large bag full of brown items leaving the park

Me too!

it was even stranger with all the big branches of willow slung over our shoulders!!

Though we have found an area with masses of the stuff, it'll keep us going all year round!!

Now all we have to do is find some bamboo growing wild!!

We had a few eucalyptus trees growing in the garden but they were due to grow massively so got them up before they wrecked the aviary floor!

and I do have my eye on a load of bamboo, just waiting for a phone call to go and collect it!

are all types of eucalyptus tree safe for the birds. There is some growing wild from an old stump in the field next door but i wouldn't have a clue what variety and i wouldn't like to try to work it out!
