Ive watched it, and am now a sniveling wreck. It never gets any easier to see these poor birds in this condition, but unfortunately it is more common than people realise.
Its so sad that it never lived for very long, but at the same time heartwarming to know that towards the end, it did know love, and was cared for. Poor baby.
My heart goes out to the ones who die without ever knowing kindness, love, warmth and good food. We are in the right place, each doing our little bit to try and educate people, and give these birds a better life.

Having got two of these magnificent MC my heart melted and then broke watching this video, thankfully mine do not have a hole in the chest, but one of them is severely plucked!! And it just breaks your heart to see them in this condition and that pet shops can get away with things like that...thank god Bo knew love at one point in his life...sadly not long enough!

It makes me realise Cockatoos are not meant to be indoors in cages they need to be out in the open in aviaries if they have to be in captivity (with exceptions i no) I hope seeing that it puts people off ever buying one!!!!!!!!!!!! xx

Sorry to upset everyone xx

I'm glad I have seen this, but I now have big puffy eyes to go with my swollen bitten chin, I look even worse if that is possible.

I've said it before and I'll keep saying it, please god let what goes around come around!!

Out of all the parrots cockatoos should have never been taken from the wild, well saying that none of the parrot family should have!

People buy cockatoos because there cuddly and soppy and they get spoilt for the first year or so of buying them then the novelty wears off a bit and peoples normal lives take over and this is what turn the Toos into screamers/pluckers or even worse! What im trying to say birds are birds dont make them be lap dogs or like your children because they never will be they will always be beautiful wild animals!

I just saw this. It is so sad, my heart is breaking. I don't know what treatment poor Bo had to suffer but I hope the animal that did this to him was punished. I hate cruelty of anykind. I can't see the screen anymore for the tears. God Bless Bo
