belle has gone really aggressive the last few weeks, nothing changed home wise or bird wise.

she's attacking my 2 congo's (pulled a few feathers off skye, nothing major.. won't let beau play with anything, if beau sits any where, belle attacks )  and torments my mealy amazon....she doesn't bother with archie (bl timneh)

i was going to get her clipped by shell, but other half  said nooo

she's been flighted all her life....

last resort would be hormone injection from vet.. (but i don't like that )

has anyone else's timneh's mood changed?

Yeah Rommy has been hormonal the last few weeks - Everywhere is a nesting site for her, including the bottom shelf of my bookcase, the corner of my kitchen, underneath the sofa LOL

Yeah i think in serious serious occasions when the bird is a risk of hurting itself or killing itself then they would be used but personally i would not use them, im sure Shaz could give you some great helpful advise like camomile tea etc.

I would look into her/his behaviour a bit more maybe he is not happy being around other birds, where the cage is positioned, where he perches (up high above you) etc etc because there must be something that is causing this more serious than hormones xx

My Timneh has been scratching about at the bottom of his cage, displaying a lot, when out he hides under the other cages, and if hubby walks by, he will run out to attack him.He seems to have a love of dark corners
As to a change in behaviour, I cant comment on this, as Max has always been aggressive to any person or bird, apart from me. His behaviour to me is just the same, other than instead of cuddles, he likes to hide, and he tries to avoid me so I cant put him back in his cage.
